My Story
Hi, I'm Michelle Irving
I have worked as an Independent Midwife for 24 years, supporting many women in successfully having a VBAC.
Often they came to me because they felt their decisions were not being respected which caused them stress and anxiety and to doubt themselves.
What I believe
I have come to understand that being supported and listened to is vital. I believe being listened to reduces stress and enables the body to work normally, increasing the chance of a successful VBAC.
Often women do not know their rights and I hear them asking they are 'allowed' to have a VBAC.
I want all women to understand that they have the right to make decisions about how and where they birth, so I created this course.
On this course, you will learn:

- Understand the importance of your previous experience and the impact it can have on your current pregnancy
- Know how to navigate the 'system' and gain the support you need

This short course will help you prepare for a VBAC.
It will optimise your route to a VBAC but sometimes a VBAC isn't possible.
